Our mission in these
tutorials will be to help you better understand the common misconceptions
and/or mysteries behind computer hardware and electronics. If you are
an expert system builder these tutorials may not help you much. We are
gearing these tutorials towards the consumer who has an idea of what
they want but may be confused when browsing through so many items. Let's
face it, we all wish we knew half of what the mechanic is talking about
when he tells us we have to dish out $500 to get our car fixed.

 |
Many of us would rather not
deal with the mess and buy a pre-assembled system from a large
system house. If you are here, you must already understand that
these computer system companies offer cheap computers, but they
lack significantly in quality and performance. Building and
upgrading your own system will definitely give you better performance
and quality, which means better value.
We hope these tutorials will not only give you more knowledge
but more confidence in your shopping choices. We will be continually
adding tutorials. Please contact us if you have any suggestions.
